Anything But Ordinary
I even freak myself out
I laugh myself to sleep
Its my lullaby
Sometimes I drive so fast
Just to feel the danger
I wanna scream
It makes me feel alive
Is it enough to love?
Is it enough to breathe?
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
Id rather be anything but ordinary please
To walk within the lines
Would make my life so boring
I want to know that i
Have been to the extreme
So knock me off my feet
Come on now give it to me
Anything to make me feel alive
Is it enough to love?
Is it enough to breathe?
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
Id rather be anything but ordinary please
Id rather be anything but ordinary please.
Let down your defences
Use no common sense
If you look you will see
That this world is
A beautiful, accident, turbulent,
Succulent, opulent, permanent
No way
I wanna taste it
Dont wanna waste it away
Sometimes I get so weird
I even freak myself out
I laugh myself to sleep
Its my lullaby
Is it enough?
Is it enough?
Is it enough to breathe?
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
Id rather be anything but ordinary please
Id rather be anything but ordinary please
Is it enough?
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
Id rather be anything but ordinary please
Id rather be anything but ordinary please

Harvest Festival
The Harvest festival celebrated in Malaysia by the Kadazan of Sabah each May with thanksgiving dedicated to the rice gods. Agricultural shows, exhibitions, cultural programs, buffalo races, and other traditional games are held. There is much merrymaking and feasting with rice wine flowing freely throughout the festivities.
The Rice Harvest Festival in Malaysia or Gawai Dayak is usually held on the second day of June.
At harvest time the whole of the Malaysian community work together in the rice fields, gathering the stalks by hand. Traditional Malaysians harvest rice with a special knife whose carved handle is said to appease the Semangat or rice spirit.
In the month of May, Saba Hans celebrate The Kadazan Harvest Festival. The Kadazan Harvest Festival is known locally as ‘Tadau Ka’amatan’.
According to their beliefs, the spirit of the paddy plant is said to be part of the Kinoingan - also known as the Bambaazon, who is revered as the creator, a source of life and existence. The rice spirit Bambaazon is therefore revered in the rice plant, the rice grain and the cooked rice. Many believe that “Without rice, there is no life”.
During the festival, Sabah natives wear their traditional costumes and enjoy a carnival atmosphere which stretches from daybreak till dawn. ‘Tapai’ or home-made rice wine is served as the specialty for the day.
Sabahans are greeted with a special greeting for the harvest festival known as ‘Kopivosian Tadau Ka’amatan’ or ‘Happy Harvest Festival’.

The History Behind Valentine's Day
This is probably derived from the ancient Roman feast of Lupercalis, sometimes called Lupercalia. The feast celebration was held through February 13 till 15. In an annual rite of fertility, eligible young men and women would be paired as couples through a town lottery. Briefly clad or naked men would then run through the town carrying the skins of newly sacrificed goats dipped in blood. The women of the town would present themselves to be gently slapped by the strips and marked by the blood to improve their chances of conceiving in the coming year.
Later, when Christianity dominated Europe, pagan holidays such as Lupercalia were renamed after early Christian Martyrs. In 496, February 14 was officially declared to be feast day of two Roman martyrs, both called Saint Valentine, by Pope Gelsius. Surprisingly, neither Saint Valentine had any connection to courtship or lovers.
Despite the constant attempts of the Christian church to sanctify the holiday, the association of Valentine's Day with love and romance continued through the Middle Ages. In France and England it was believed that the birds mated on February 14, then the birds symbolized love on drawings and poems written. By 18th century, it became a custom that on this particular day, lovers exchange love notes and poems. By the 19th and 20th century, lovers started to exchange greeting cards and fancy lunch and dinner invitations. Nowadays, Valentine's Day is celebrated through sending cards and short poems as email and short cell phone messages.
Valentine's Day is now the second only to Christmas as the most popular card-sending holiday.
::: Tomorrow is 14th February 2009..just wanna wish you all Happy Valentine's Day...enjoy your weekends in this loveable month...:::

Stay by Estrella
::: Listening this song right now...i really love the lyric :::
Sound straight from the twilight
Has me up all night
I can't fall asleep 'cause I keep thinking of you
And I saw a shadow outside my window and it's you.
[Chorus]
All my sorrows flew away
Hush, keep quiet, hear me say
I don't ever want you to go
Please stay
With the moonlight dancing free
And there's no one but you and me
There's no reason to go astray
Please stay.
Making up a story
It's the way you're looking at me
If you think that this is funny, it's just you.
Try and think about it,
If you're heart is closed don't lock it,
Keep your keys back in your pocket,
Think this through.
[Chorus]
Please stay with me
Just stay with me
and I will take you to Foreverland
Just stay
